A Martian Odyssey: And Other Classics of Science Fiction
A Martian Odyssey: And Other Classics of Science Fiction (1962)
Stanley G Weinbaum
"Hidden in this obscure magazine, "A Martian Odyssey" had the effect on the field of an exploding grenade. With this single story, Weinbaum was instantly recognized as the world's best living science fiction writer, and at once almost every writer in the field tried to imitate him."
Adam Link - Robot
Adam Link - Robot (1965)
Eando Binder
"To anyone fond of the robot story in science fiction, ADAM LINK is of extraordinary interest. The robot-with-emotion has rarely been so well-handled."
The Ancient Engineers
The Ancient Engineers (1974)
L Sprague de Camp
"Mr. de Camp has the trick of being able to show technology engaging in feats as full of derring-do as those of Hannibal's army. History as it should be told."
And Having Writ...
And Having Writ... (1979)
Donald R Benson
"Utterly charming."
2061: Odyssey Three

(Space Odyssey, book 3)
Arthur C Clarke
"Nobody has done more in the way of enlightened prediction...in this respect he is the most important science fiction writer."
The Multiplex Man
The Multiplex Man (1992)

Over the River and Through the Woods (1995)
Clifford D Simak
"I read Cliff's stories with particular attention, and I couldn't help but notice the simplicity and directness of the writing - the utter clarity of it. I made up my mind to imitate it, and I labored over the years to make my writing simpler, clearer, more uncluttered, to present my scenes on a bare stage"
