About Elmer Kelton
One of America's greatest Western storytellers, Elmer Kelton has been voted the greatest Western writers of all time by the Western Writers of America. Mr Kelton died on August 22, 2009. He hadmultiple health problems, and died of natural causes while working on hislast book.
