About Philip Nutman
Full Throttle, the novella which appeared in Splatterpunks!, garnered Nutman his first of four Bram Stoker Award nominations, and was reviewed to acclaim in The New York Times. In addition to novels (Wet Work, the forthcoming Full Throttle, and the work-in-progress, The Man on the White Horse), Nutman is a successful comic book and screenwriter. His comic book credits include Clive Barker's Hellraiser, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Evil Ernie: Destroyer, Chastity: Rocked, and the anthology series Nightmare Theater. Most recently, he penned a three-part story based on the classic John Carpenter horror movie, Halloween. As a screenwriter, he has written over a dozen screenplays, including a controversial version of Jack Ketchum's infamous The Girl Next Door, and has just finished adapting Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child's archaeological thriller Thunderhead as a big budget major studio project for Gryphon Films.
