John Varley recommends
Lunar Descent (1991) (Near-Space) Allen M Steele "The best hard SF writer to come along in the last decade." | Callahan's Legacy (1996) (Callahan) Spider Robinson "Subversive, dangerous, iconoclastic, cantankerous. Puns, palindromes, puzzlers, posers, pranks, and poetry. A three ring circus of ideas - I loved it!" | Callahan's Con (2003) (Callahan) Spider Robinson "Spider Robinson is the Tom Robbins of the 21st century." |
