There's nine short stories in this book,some are really great and some a little boring. I liked espacially the following ones:"the maze" , "the reluctant heroes","the wreck of the ship john b." & "a life in the day of". between the stories there are comments written also by frank robinson relating the stories - what made him write them and what they are about,it's been interesting to read them before reading each story and again after reading the story.
