The Iduve, in seeking out a single betrayer who has fled to the planet Priamos for sanctuary, have condemned that planet unless the betrayer is found and destroyed. The Iduve safely ensconced on their mammoth space ship, meld the minds of three different individuals, one human, to track and return their quarry. They send the tracker who, if he should fail, will also perish.
