A "relativistic bomb" devastates the surface of the Earth and the only survivors are those in a deep-sea vessel exploring the Titanic and a small number of isolated space colonies on the Moon, Mars and other planetary moons. Struggling to unite, the groups find themselves being hunted down whenever they expose themselves in the electromagnetic communication spectrum.
