Indian Burial Ground (2024)
Nick Medina
"An intense family drama set on the (fictional) Rez where the threat of the mysterious Takoda Vampire makes for a gripping--and creepy!--read. Nick Medina is an Indigenous writer to watch."
The Circle (2023)
Katherena Vermette
"Like Orange's There There, The Circle is a polyphonic masterpiece. Brutal at turns, and tender at others, it's about the tremendous impact one person can have on an entire community."
Nestlings (2023)
Nat Cassidy
"Oh you like Rosemary's Baby? 'Salem's Lot? Just wait until you read Nestlings by Nat Cassidy. It's about the curse and revelation of survival. About the intense emotional complexity of family. It's also about super weird superstar vampires. And it's just so funny and smart. This is the horror book of the year."
