The irrepressible Von Ryan is at it again.

Chaffing under quarantine in Switzerland, he eagerly accepts a clandestine call to arms. The OSS has word that a German agent is infiltrating partisan bands in Northern Italy. Can Von Ryan identify and then eliminate this agent?

The OSS gets him across the border, but then the script unravels and Von Ryan is on his own. He heads for one contact on whom he believes he can depend -- Contessa di Montalba, mysterious, self-possessed, alluring.
