Adrien is a trans - inside him is a wire that allows someone somewhere to experience everything he does. He is on the run from the Watchers, but his own Watcher wants Adrien's Sabina for herself. When Adrien returns from having his wire removed, he finds that Sabina is not quite the same anymore.
