He's not supposed to touch and she's got something to prove by being on top...

Jo Johnson has spent ten long months running from a traumatic past that left both physical and mental scars but when Ash takes up a chair at her sister's tattoo studio, the attraction is almost instant. She thinks he might just be what the doctor ordered to help her get over her paralyzing fear of men.

Ash arrives in Australia from the UK for a working holiday. He's going to ink tourists, surf and attempt to remove the knife his ex lodged into his back. He wants a hassle-free workplace and an easy few months. What he gets is a woman who knows how to play dirty and the chance for some no-strings kink.

He's not supposed to touch and she's got something to prove making them combustible behind closed doors but what happens when their pasts are exposed and one of them isn't who they seem? Can they learn to trust, to let down their guards, to love again? Or will Ash leave Australia and a broken Jo behind forever...

This is a two to three chili book on a scale of sweet to mild to scorching.

Meet the Johnson Sisters of Downunder Ink:

Jacqueline, Jennifer and Josephine Johnson never had it easy. Losing their parents early in life and being raised by an eccentric aunt means one sister lacks discipline and wouldn’t know responsibility if it slapped her in the ass. One sister wanted to forge her own path but wound up in a relationship with the wrong type of guy, a guy who is now doing ten years in maximum security. The other is an artist with a clear plan but her business is only just scraping up enough to pay the taxes on the building she inherited despite her long hours and no time for play.

Set on the beautiful east coast of Australia in a tropical fancy fictional tourist town, Jack, Jen and Jo are spiralling. Two know it. One doesn’t. None of them really know how to stop it and all three are just barely surviving what life throws at them.

Meet the men who change it all…

Run: Ash has a history being a bad boy but tried to put it all behind him. Until his ex faked a pregnancy which sent him to Australia to gain some peace and space and work at Downunder Ink. Now Jo wants him to help her get over her fear of intimacy with men, by being intimate with her. But hands off buddy, you can lick but you can’t touch.

Hide: Ben is a PT who works with returned soldiers and hates the flippant way tattoo artist Jen jokes with men who have seen the worst of the worst. Men who lost a piece of themselves and think ink is the way to tidy up the scars left behind. But Jen has a scar of her own, a past too, and Ben might be just the man to help her adjust to her new way of living…and loving.

Play: When Cole is hired to install security cameras to the Downunder Ink studio, he finally meets the notorious Jacqueline Johnson, ruthless business owner and middle finger flipper to the street’s upper management team. They’ve been trying to drive the sisters from the strip for a few years, their aunt and her adult toy shop for at least thirty before that. A freehold building means no one can stop them. Cole admires that, he admires Jack, but she’s wound up tight shouldering the burdens of everyone around her while attempting to protect her sisters from life. He takes up the challenge of trying to get her to relax, live a little, let go a lot. He’ll soon discover fun Jack might be too hot for one man to handle…
