Tattoo artist, Jennifer Johnson, did something bad once. For a good reason. Now she hides behind her wide-leg jeans, big smile and cheery attitude. She knows she deserves the injury she got while drink driving, but she doesn’t know how to live with it. Or let another person see her laid bare.

When she’s attacked by a client, the man who saves her offers to make good with private exercise lessons to regain her strength and work on her balance. Jen accepts but has lessons of a different nature in mind.

Never in his career has occupational therapist Ben been asked for bedroom-based exercise lessons and until he met Jen, his answer would have been no. But what’s a single guy to do when faced with those big eyes and that tortured soul?

Will he give in to a chemistry that promises to exceed his private expectations or will he keep it strictly professional and ignore the signs that this could be one hell of a wild ride?

Meet the Downunder Ink Crew

Jacqueline, Jennifer and Josephine Johnson never had it easy. Losing their parents early in life and being raised by an eccentric aunt means one sister lacks discipline and wouldn’t know responsibility if it slapped her in the ass. One sister wanted to forge her own path but wound up in a relationship with the wrong type of guy, a guy who is now doing ten years in maximum security. The other is an artist with a clear plan but her business is only just scraping up enough to pay the taxes on the building she inherited despite her long hours and no time for play.

Set on the beautiful east coast of Australia in a tropical fancy fictional tourist town, Jack, Jen and Jo are spiralling. Two know it. One doesn’t. None of them really know how to stop it and all three are just barely surviving.

Meet the men who change it all…

Ash has a history being a bad boy but tried to put it all behind him. Until his ex faked a pregnancy which sent him to Australia to gain some peace and space and work at Downunder Ink. Now Jo wants him to help her get over her fear of intimacy with men, by being intimate with her. But hands off buddy, you can lick but you can’t touch.

Ben is a PT who works with returned soldiers and hates the flippant way tattoo artist Jen jokes with men who have seen the worst of the worst. Men who lost a piece of themselves and think ink is the way to tidy up the scars left behind. But Jen has a scar of her own, a past too, and Ben might be just the man to help her adjust to her new way of living…and fucking.

When Cole is hired to install security cameras to the Downunder Ink studio, he finally meets the notorious Jacqueline Johnson, ruthless business owner and middle finger flipper to the street’s upper management team. They’ve been trying to drive the sisters from the strip for a few years, their aunt and her sex shop for at least thirty before that. A freehold building means no one can stop them. Cole admires that, he admires Jack, but she’s wound up tight shouldering the burdens of everyone around her while attempting to protect her sisters from life. He takes up the challenge of trying to get her to relax, live a little, let go a lot. He’ll soon discover fun Jack might be too hot for one man to handle…
