The story began as Tam and his companions ventured from their homeland along the River Wynnd, a trading trip which rapidly became a sinister struggle for their very survival. As they travelled, the conflict between warring families the Wills and the Renne escalated and Tam and his friends, in aiding the mysterious Alaan, have now become inextricably linked to his fate. However, the tangled web of sorcery, intrigues, betrayals and counter-betrayals conceals an even deeper game. A chosen few have begun to mirror an ancient story as god-born siblings replay their ancient rivalry. As humans and immortal powers prepare their last stand, which side will be cast into oblivion?
