The man, Al Remington, is wanted for the vicious murders of several people in Texas and he’s reported to have fled into Indian Territory, so the marshal’s office in Muscogee has been given the task of apprehending him. Bass, along with his number one posse man and best friend, Henry Lone Tree, and a single posse cook, set out to get their man. On the way, he begins to wonder about the fugitive. What makes him kill?
