Moody Gets the Blues

Scott Moody has a few problems. He's fresh out of a mental hospital. His wife has left him. He drives a taxi and occupies a dumpy apartment. He lives in the obscure inland city of Spokane, Washington and takes frequent doses of Thorazine. He became a private investigator after hallucinations about humphrey Bogart. Now he's involved with the police who don't think it was a good idea. When this off-center detective tries to find his ex-girlfriend's husband, it becomes clear that the real question is whether he can solve the mystery of his own life--the mystery of happiness and sanity.
