Death's Door

A killer is targeting young blond women as spring arrives in Door County, Wisconsin. Local reporter Leigh Girard discovers the first victim--a teenager--her body ritually arranged in the woods by the Mink River. When a college student is found positioned the same way, Leigh launches an investigation that lures her into a bizarre correspondence with the killer. His letters taunt Leigh with cryptic literary clues that hint at his identity. Not until Leigh connects the killings with a twenty-three-year-old murder does she discover another horrifying truth. She's been baited and trapped and there's no way out.
