Precious gems are stolen from a museum tour of the Highlands. All but one of the gems are found dumped at the side of a loch. Can Clarissa Urquhart and her new team find the culprits before the gem finds a new home far from reach?
When the National Museum of Scotland has its gemstones stolen while on tour through the highlands and islands, D.I. Clarissa Urquhart faces the first test for her new section. On arrival at the scene, she is told that all but one of the precious items have been recovered, a relic with a history lost to the past.
