When Scottish landowner Jeremy Carpenter comes to the rescue of American Hazel Tripp, whose car has broken down, he little foresees the adventures their new relationship will lead him into. Hazel is a talented restorer of antiques, and Jeremy an expert on the legend of the Holy Grail. Both of them have good reason to bear a grudge against one Gordon McKennerty, a notorious local crook.
