Before straying serendipitously into crime fiction, Erin Hart worked as an editor and copywriter, writing teacher, journalist and theater critic. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, button accordion player Paddy O'Brien, with whom she frequently visits Ireland, carrying out essential research in bogs and cow pastures and castles and pubs.
