Abbie bought the old church where her five-year-old sister died twenty years ago, determined that other children wouldn’t be killed there. She didn’t realize the graveyard came with the church until she signed the closing papers or that the ghosts of children who died in a cholera epidemic over a hundred and fifty years ago were still there. Abbie didn’t mind the ghosts. She just wanted to connect with Suki’s spirit. The ghost children hadn’t seen her, so where did Father bury her if not here in the graveyard?
