Otto von Lambert's wife is found dead. He urges F to undertake an assignment to reconstruct the murder. F is fascinated by Otto's notes and by the discovery that Tina had kept an eerie journal on her psychiatrist husband and finds herself involved in a web of murder and international intrigue.
