Paul Temple and his wife Steve are plunged into a maelstrom of murder, blackmail and terror in a plot which is set in a luxury liner crossing the Atlantic and moves on to a home-counties mansion, a London night-club, an unexpected visit to Amsterdam, and a house-boat on the Thames.
