Jerry Peyton's Notched Inheritance

Hank Peyton, a rugged rancher, has just died. Fellow ranchers respect Jerry, his son and heir, but farmers hate him. Mistaking Peyton for a horse thief, a group of farmers torture him. While he is convalescing, the real thief comes along and steals a gun that is very dear to Peyton. This act unleashes a chain of events bound to stir Western fans.
