The hunting of old Nazis is taken up by a new generation in this solidly crafted page-turner about love and revenge across two continents. Steve Hodson gives a completely satisfactory reading in a deep, rather deliberate, British voice, creating suspense by refusing to be rushed. His character voices depend less on tone and rhythm than on his mastery of an enormous range of accents.
