Omar Ross is disturbed by the death of Cranwell, a famous Egyptologist who had been searching for a lost city. Ross's suspicions become further aroused by documents left referring to other deaths, linked by the inscription for the god Thoth. Had Cranwell been on the verge of a great discovery?
