Deep in the Amazon jungle, members of a scientific team are disappearing. Fearing his father, a bat biologist, is in danger, Jake flies to Brazil to investigate. There is something waiting for him high up in the rainforest canopy though - an ancient "killing machine" wanting a gruesome revenge.
