About Mark Zuehlke
The author of many books of non-fiction, Mark Zuehlke's first published mystery, Hands Like Clouds, appeared in the fall of 2000 and introduced reluctant coroner Elias McCann. Set in the windswept village of Tofino on Vancouver Island's west coast, the book was the first in a series following Elias's investigations into mysterious deaths. Since then Mark has completed two other Elias McCann novels: Carry Tiger to Mountain (2002) and Sweep Lotus (2004). Mark lives in Victoria. When not writing mysteries, he is usually heavily engaged in researching and writing popular Canadian military history. He is represented by the Carolyn Swayze Literary Agency.
