She was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada and her love for reading developed at an early age. Her parents both avid readers and encouraged her to read as much as possible. Trips to the public library were the highlight of my week and by the time she was in junior high she was reading everything from biographies to romantic suspense to travel magazines

When she was only fourteen-years-old. She read one of her poems at her local church and received a standing ovation.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education she boarded a plane for Seoul, South Korea. She loved every minute of living in Seoul. The people, the food, the culture, the SHOPPING! Three years later, She returned home with a fresh outlook on life. She married and moved to Calgary, Alberta and now have a daughter, Aysiah.
