Here is a story with a glamorous background - Hollywood and the world of films. But when Fay, young and inexperienced, married a sophisticated film director and was swept into the brittle, shallow social whirl of the film capital, she soon discovered that, all too often, there is heartache and disillusionment behind the glitter.
