Lionel White

aka L W Blanco

Lionel White was born in 1905 and died in 1985. He wrote dark, noirish stories about good guys and bad guys. Some of his books were made into movies. Stanley Kubrick liked his book Clean Break so much he licensed the rights for his film The Killing in 1956. In Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs, he is listed as an inspiration for the film in the credits.
