Charlotte is obsessed with Jane Eyre. She dreams of living in a gothic mansion in the Yorkshire countryside instead of attending Harraby Comprehensive School where her mother is an English teacher. When a dark, handsome new French teacher joins the school, Charlotte decides he will be the perfect Mr. Rochester for her mum.
