AudioFile - John Niessink
Like the best of current fantasy or science fiction, Wells's short stories are provocative and resonant adventures into the more obscure corners of the human mind. Even at his most bizarre, Wells writes with a detachment that doesn't invite heavily dramatized reading. Ralph Cosham strikes an appropriate tone, reminding one of an undemonstrative Englishman telling tales over brandy and cigars. His voice and delivery aren't memorable, but they never get in the way. It's good to see Wells's work offered in a format that may catch the attention of a new generation. J.N. cAudioFile, Portland, Maine
