Elsa Watson

Pacific Northwest native Elsa Watson has been curious about dogs since she was a little girl.  Growing up, she was an avid reader and short story writer, and often wondered what it would be like to write a novel.

She currently works at the West Sound Wildlife Shelter, a wildlife hospital and education center.  West Sound Wildlife gives injured and orphaned wild animals a second chance at life.  Recently, theyve cared for animals as diverse as a baby fox, an osprey, barn owl, flying squirrel, and fluffy little ducklings.
