In 1932, Lizzie Collins is ten years old and living in Tooting with her mum and three siblings. Times are hard but the family, together with Lizzie's aunt and grandmother, manage to stay resiliant. As Lizzie grows older and severs her links to London, she experiences extremely mixed feelings.
