About David Waltner-Toews
David Waltner-Toews, born in Winnipeg, is a poet, essayist, fiction writer, veterinarian, ecosystem health specialist, father, husband and professor. Based at the University of Guelph, he teaches about, and does research on, the social and ecological contents for diseases people get from animals (zoonoses).
