Having meticulously planned and successfully executed large jewel thefts in Antwerp, Mumbai and Perth, master criminal Christo carefully assembles a crew of New York ex-cons for a new heist. A zealot who’s god favors those with guns and greed, Christo preaches in favor of narcissism as the one true human virtue. The crew quickly grasps his ruthless cunning, wondering if he will pay off, rip off or simply murder them all. Reassigned to International Relations due to his indiscretions, NYPD’s Detective Finn is dispatched to assist Interpol investigator Daniella Vella as she tracks down Christo. Finn’s job has never required him to do anything but spread his charm and attend meetings. Yet he finds Dan’s fervor and personality infectious, and begins to become a resourceful detective like his father. Unbeknownst to him, Dan has a ominous, tangled past with Christo that results in a dark and lethal gambit.
