Mariolina Venice is a novelist and Italian screenwriter.

He has published several collections of poetry and worked as a scriptwriter for television dramas.

He currently lives in Rome and is the author of the novel Been Here a Thousand Years, published by Einaudi. The novel is a family saga set in Grottole, a small town in the Basilicata, which tells the story of five generations of the human ' Unification of Italy until the fall of the Berlin Wall.
