David Sharma works as an accountant in West London, and also as an estate agent in his spare time. He is married to Sonya and has three young children, but he doesn't get the sexual satisfaction he needs from his wife. As a result, he is having an affair with a colleague Angela Howard. When Angela's husband, Eric, finds out about the affair he is devastated, but finds solace, in turn, with David's wife. While David has made it clear to Angela that love and sex just don't mix, Eric implores Sonya to leave her own husband and settle with him instead. However, David seems to want it all - and no one anticipates the lengths he will go to to get just that -
