Mary Ann Taylor-Hall's short fiction has appeared in a wide range of International Reviews; The Sewanee Review, The Colorado Quarterly, The Kenyon Review, The Paris Review and The Florida Review. She has won a PEN/Syndicated Fiction Award and received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kentucky Arts Council, and her work has been anthologized in Best American Short Stories. Mary Ann lives on a farm on the Harrison-Scott county line with her husband, Kentucky Poet Laureate James Baker Hall.
