They are forced by circumstances to fight the space services of both Empire and Confederation, sometimes taking prisoners, sometimes being captured themselves, always with a resultant SM component. The first edition sold out very quickly and this novel has been out-of-print for almost three years. It includes all of the Sean illustrations from the original private editions, considered by many to be this artist's finest work.
