James Treadwell has been a lecturer in the English department at Oxford, and at McGill University in Canada, reviewed for the Spectator, and has written academic books for Yale and OUP. Advent, the opening of a major new fantasy trilogy to be published by Hodder, is his first novel. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children.
