The SEAL team known as Brannigan's Brigands is dropped into remote Afghanistan to make allies of the unpredictable Pashtun natives. But nearby hides a gang of former military convicts left over from the Soviet invasion-part of a crime syndicate looking to take over the opium trade. And the SEALs have just interfered with their plans.

Now, the Brigands will have to take out the Russian gangsters even as they try to separate friend from foe in a land where the only law is to kill-or be killed.
