Ralph Mancini, an officer in the United Nations Law Enforcement Agency, is dedicated to the world-wide War on Drugs. A new drug is developed, giving a uniquely effective 'trip', whereby people become God-like beings and they experience 'heaven'. The next trip is their only priority - whatever the cost. Ralph and Inspector Frere follow a tangled trail of murder, seeking the source of the peril - but will they be too late to stop it spreading across the world?
