YA In this third Mitchell Gant novel, the Russians are ready to launch a devastating star wars weapon on the eve of a sweeping disarmament treaty between the U.S.S.R. and the United States. Gant flies into central Russia to rescue a scientist who can save America from sure disaster. Thomas has created an excellent suspense novel filled with plot twists, fast-paced action, aerial chase sequences, and plenty of narrow escapes, keeping readers on edge until the book is finished.
