CATHERINE TEXIER is the author of four novels. She has recently completed her fifth novel, Russian Lessons, an excerpt from which will appear in the upcoming anthology Mr. Wrong (Random House, 2007). Her work has been translated into ten languages. Texier has taught creative writing at Hofstra University, Rutgers University, and the New School. She lives in New York City.
