The good news is, there's life after death. However.. For boxer Joey Castelo, afterlife is a nightmare of slavery and savage gladiatorial combat, as he and his master become members of a traveling troupe that is part of an underworld boxing circuit. While fighting for his identity against his own savage shadow - a symbol of the blind rage which he must learn to forget - Castelo becomes drawn into the dark web of the Shadowlands.
