Impetuous Thora, beauteous woman from distant Arkon, breaks teh bonds of Earth and, with a robot as her only companion, rockets towards Venus as her first step towards returning home to her native world. But she recons without SBX..and her plans are wrecked. She finds to her dismay that she has fled the fryingpan only to land in the fire of the volcanic primeval planet that is Venus, a dangerously dinosaurian world where giant slugly uglu snail-worms creep and frail flesh crawls and winged terrodactyls swoop in the long long night.
