A Loving Gentleman

When a storm brings the new doctor, William Ward, and his young daughter, Amy, to nurse Maddie Thomas's doorstep, Maddie takes them in and helps them out. Maddie's abusive husband has kidnapped her three-month-old child, Emma, and Maddie can feel all too well for Will's needy little girl.

Despite the strong attraction between them, present from the moment they started working together, neither Maddie nor Will want to start a relationship. But the night of the storm forces an extra intimacy, and Amy's apparent attachment to Maddie heightens a growing bond.
