You brave the Curse of the Pharaoh as you enter the Lost Pyramid of Kharphut the Mighty seeking its legendary hidden treasures. Or you come to the ruined city of Thalios to search for the fabled magical stone known as the Eye of the Dragon . In either case, you must keep detailed record sheets and sketch maps, and face dozens of hideous monsters using an intricate dice roll combat system. Eerie black-and-white illustrations add to the atmosphere. Readers may have to invest a considerable length of time in these complicated and imaginatively plotted quests, but the adventure quota is well worth the effort.
