The third title in the sf series adapted from the BBC television show, 'Doctor Who.' The first two titles are 'Doctor Who In an Exciting Adventure with the Daleks' (1964) and 'Doctor Who and the Zarbi' (1965). This one finds Ian and Barbara in the midst of the twelfth century struggle between Richard the Lionheart and Saladin, and sees Ian attempting a solo rescue of Barbara, who has been captured by the Saracens.
